Mark Thompson Professional Drone Pilot

I've spent years having fun through drone flight. I say fun because that's what flying is for me. It's fun! I feel free, open, and uninhibited. When I shoot photos from the ground, I feel they have to be beyond perfect as everyone shoots from the ground. This leads to incredibly good images but unshared on the mere fact that I put unnecessary judgment on what I shoot.

But drone photos? Hah! Yes more and more are taking flight, but so few do it, that even in my worst pictures I look at them and say, someone may like that.  I still have ridiculously high standards for photo sharing even my drone pictures, but I am more open to sharing them due to the lack of competition.

You may think that is a bit weird. That's ok I am weird. I am a husband, dad, drone pilot, board game enthusiast, ex-soccer coach, soccer referee, miniature painter, and a major sports fan (favorite teams are the Steelers, Liverpool FC, and Red Wings). The idea of being a jock and a major geek is what made me think of the word Jeek (Jock & Geek).
